The Story:
Zaafir Ahmadi (Omar Berdouni), a British citizen of Moroccan descent, has made some inflammatory statements during his college lectures on terrorism and democracy.

One day, after being confronted by authorities in a local warehouse, Zaafir is approached on the street by an intimidating gang of thugs. Before he knows what has happened Zaafir has been drugged, transported to an unknown destination, and placed in a sea container for holding.

Now alone in a world where nothing is as it seems, the frightened prisoner soon finds his thoughts drifting back to the days spent with his beautiful wife Ewa (Ania Sowinski) and teaching college courses on democracy and the origins of terrorism.

But this is only the beginning of Zaafir's suffering, because upon arriving in an unspecified Mideast country he is interrogated by the vicious Maro (Andy Serkis), who accuses the prisoner of providing financial aid to radical Islam.

Subsequently tortured in hopes that he will provide a confession, Zaafir is eventually released back onto the London streets, but remains so scarred by his experience that he cannot even communicate with his sympathetic wife, Zaafir is a broken man trying to pick up the pieces of his life...

The Story:

Epitaph (기담/奇談 - Gidam) South Korea

The Story:
Browsing an old photo book in 1979, Park Jeong-nam travels back with his memories to 1942, when Korea was occupied by Japan, when he was a young and immature intern doctor in Anseong Hospital. During those four days, strange events will happen, when corpses brought to the mortuary aren’t able to rest in piece.

Three intertwined stories follow, starting in reverse order (the second starts the day before):

One: While awaiting for his bride-to-be to arrive from Japan (the daughter of the hospital’s director), Jeong-nam (Jin Ku) is fascinated by a recently diseased young woman. He spends time near the corpse in the morgue and draws her face. It’s then time for the diseased to return his appreciation.

Two: Asako (Ju-yeon Ko) is a young girl who was the only survivor of a car accident which killed all her family. She doesn’t speak and apparents to be in a state of shock, but what the doctors can’t see is that she’s drowning in guilt and being visited by the ghost of her mother.

Three: Serial killings of Japanese soldiers continue and a married couple, Kim Dong-won (Tae-woo Kim ) and Kim In-yeong (Bo-kyeong Kim), both surgeons, are involved in the autopsies. Meanwhile, Dong-won finds out that his wife has no shadow, and that the killer is much nearer than he could possibly imagine.

The Story:
Charles Bronson, born Michael Petersen (Tom Hardy), Born in 1952 in Aberystwyth he settled in Luton with his family is a singular phenomenon and charts the 34 years of prison life of Britain's most notorious, dangerous and charismatic criminal (30 of which have been spent in solitary confinement).


Bronson was initially sent to prison for a botched armed robbery in which no one was hurt, and who has since served up year after year of extended sentences that have been piled on in response to violent outbursts against fellow inmates and guards, motivated by an unceasing desire to become a celebrity super-star.

Over time, Bronson has made a name for himself as a world renowned, award winning artist and author, but still remains a "Category A" prisoner, meaning he is still in solitary confinement in Wakefield high-security prison.

When he goes into a post office to receive a wire transfer, he finds himself in the middle of a hostage situation. Due to an unfortunate mistake, the police believe Van Damme is responsible for the crime. As the events are played from different perspectives, Van Damme finds himself acting as a hero to protect the hostages, as well as a negotiator as the presumed perpetrator.

Van Damme is forced to play a different kind of hero by accepting responsibility for crimes he didnt commit and the life mistakes that he made.

The Story:
Antoine Sforza (Nicolas Cazale), a 30-year-old waiter living in Paris. He lives a hand to mouth existence in the city. He is friends with local grocer Hassan (Chad Chenouga) and neighbour Claire (Clotilde Hesme).

He left his village ten years before in order to start a new life in the big city,but now that his father (Daniel Duval), a traveling grocer, is in hospital after a stroke.

Antoine reluctantly returns to his family home in Provence, with the help of his best friend Claire, who he has a secret crush on, but they are not an item and he lacks the courage to declare his feelings.

Antoine takes over the family mobile grocery business, driving from tiny village to tiny village to deliver supplies to the inhabitants. He is rude and impatient with the mostly elderly country folk. Things improve when Claire goes with him and their relationship develops.

While his mother (Jeanne Goupil) makes no secret of her delight in Antoine's return, his presence causes a lot of friction, not least because his father and his older brother Francois (Stephan Guerin Tillie) have never forgiven him for leaving in the first place.Francois is also deeply troubled. His wife has left him and he keeps it a secret from his parents.

Meanwhile, Antoine gradually warms to his new role, while struggling with the fact that Claire plans to leave at the end of the summer in order to study in Spain. In a fit of pique Antoine betrays Claire's trust, sabotaging her entry to college.

While he tries to retrieve papers he has ditched, she finds out and she gets on the next train out. Hassan arrives to help with the business. Antoine rescues Francois when he tries to drown himself. Antoine re-focuses his life and reconciles with his family, customers and community.

The Story:
André (Jamel Debbouze), a small-time ex-convict, seems to owe money to everyone in Paris, including a crime boss who promises to kill him if he doesn't repay him by midnight. After failing to find protection from the American embassy and the French police, a despairing André scrambles onto a bridge over the Seine, intending to leap to his death.

He is surprised to see a tall, beautiful girl clinging to a rail on the same bridge, apparently preparing to end her life as well. She jumps, and he jumps too, suddenly resolving to save her life. After scrambling ashore, she tells him her name is Angel-A (Rie Rasmussen).


Together, they take a cruise on the Seine, repay André's creditors, visit a Parisian nightspot, and more, as Angel-A helps André. He learns that for this purpose she has fallen out of the sky and into his life. André finds himself falling in love with this mysterious beauty.
