The Story:
Smalltime hoods Brody (Mike Epps) and Guch (Wood Harris) have seen better days. But when a wacked-out courier (Donald Faison) accidentally brings them a box containing 10 kilos of high-quality cocaine meant for their next-door neighbors, it sets in motion a hilarious and harrowing chain of events that could cost all of them their lives.


Brody and Guch immediately arrange to sell the coke to Brody's drug dealer cousin (Omari Hardwick) and his tightlipped bodyguard (Darius McCrary). The Story:
Sonia Bergerac (Isabelle Adjani), an instructor at a school for "difficult" children. As if that role were not demanding enough, Sonia's husband suddenly and inexplicably leaves her, and she encounters considerable problems adjusting to her work environment. She thus finds herself careening toward a nervous breakdown, with seemingly no way to stop. Compounding matters is Sonia's decision to buck the principal's rule of no skirts for female teachers, a policy she resents. Sonia's world explodes into chaos one afternoon when she discovers a gun in one of her students' bags. Acting spontaneously and indignantly, she seizes it and fires an accidental shot, wounding one pupil's leg. The incident gets misread and draws untoward attention, and before long parents, politicians, law officers and the media surround the school and turn an unfortunate incident into a full-blown hostage crisis that may well push Sonia over the edge of sanity.

At home his wife, Concetta (Shannyn Sossamon), takes care of his sick infant son and makes their grimy rundown apartment as much of a home as she can. Willy, ten years old, lives in the Welfare hotel with his sister, mother (Illeana Douglas) and her violent boyfriend. Willy begs on the street so he and Susie can buy some fast food to eat. Romeo (Evan Ross), a street tough, roams the streets with his gang. Upset over the murder of his younger brother, and feeling partially responsible for not being there during the shooting, he terrorizes anyone who comes in his path.

The Story:
Legendary Depression-era bank robber John Dillinger (Johnny Depp), the charismatic bank robber whose lightning raids made him the number one target of J. Edgar Hoover's fledgling FBI and its top agent, Melvin Purvis (Christian Bale), and a folk hero to much of the downtrodden public. No one could stop Dillinger. No jail could hold him. His charm and audacious jailbreaks endeared him to almost everyone, from his girlfriend Billie Frechette (Marion Cotillard), to an American public who had no sympathy for the banks that had plunged the country into the Depression.

He made Dillinger America's first Public Enemy Number One and sent in Purvis, however, Dillinger and his gang outwitted and outgunned Purvis' men in wild chases and shootouts. Only after importing a crew of Western ex-lawmen (newly baptized as agents), who were real gunfighters, and orchestrating epic betrayals, from the infamous "Lady in Red" to the Chicago crime boss Frank Nitti, were Purvis and the FBI able to close in on Dillinger.

The Story:
Ami (Minase Yashiro) is a typical college girl. Ami escapes, barely alive, and is taken in by the owners of a machine shop who build her a customized, bullet-spewing arm. From that point, the quest for revenge is on in earnest.

The afterthought child to elderly parents (Ed Asner,Jane Alexander), and the youngest son in a trio of successful brothers, a shady oil man (Ian Roberts), a surgeon (Robert Stanton), Brian is searching for his place in the world. Unfulfilled by his work he spends a good portion of his day pursuing his goal of someday adopting a baby from China. He gets swept up in a romance with the lovely but misguided Harriet Lolly (Zooey Deschanel) when she comes in to his store one day and falls asleep on one of the beds. To win her over, he must compete with her bear of a father, Al Lolly, (John Goodman) an art-collecting loudmouth with a bad back and deep pockets.

IL DIVO (Italian)

The Story:
Giulio Andreotti (Toni Servillo), an Italian politician of the Democrazia Cristian (Christian Democrat Party) who first joined Parliament in 1946, has served in different positions over the years, and in 1991 became (and still remains) a tenured Senator for Life. After a montage of assassinations involving “politicians, journalists, judges and banks – all connected to the Vatican, the Mafia or Andreotti” over the preceding years, the film opens in 1991 with Andreotti beginning his seventh term as Prime Minister surrounded by a powerful cabinet whose members range from clergy to criminal. When asked why he includes such nefarious people, he explains, “Trees need manure to grow.”
He next plans to be elected President of the Republic, but fails after the murder of one associate with Mafia ties and the defection of another. As a new party takes over the government, members of Democrazia Cristian are brought up on many corruption charges, leading to the suicide of many, although the circumstances are suspicious. Andreotti is able to remain above the fray as he always has before, which leads a journalist to state he was “either the most cunning criminal in the country because you never got caught or you’re the most persecuted man in the history of Italy.”
After the arrest of Cosa Nostra boss Salvatore Riina and other associates give up information of which investigators are looking, Andreotti is investigated and charged with the murder of a journalist who claimed Andreotti had ties to the Mafia and the kidnapping of Prime Minister Aldo Moro, who he succeeded. It was known as “The Trial Of The Century.”

The Story:
