DRAG ME TO HELL
The Story:
Christine Brown (Alison Lohman), an ambitious L.A. loan officer, who gets more than she bargained for when she refuses an elderly customer’s request for a loan extension in order to impress her obnoxious boss (David Paymer) and improve her chances for promotion. When she dispossesses Mrs. Ganush (Lorna Raver) from her home, the devilish old woman retaliates by placing the curse of the Lamia on Christine which turns her life into a living nightmare.
To break the evil curse, desperate Christine consults Rham Jas (Dileep Rao) a psychic seer who tries to reverse the spell and save her from eternal damnation. When Rham Jas realizes he’s in over his head, he brings Christine to seer Shaun San Dena (Adriana Barraza), a powerful medium with special skills to deal with the spirits and one of the only women in the world who has met the Lamia and lived to tell the tale. As evil forces close in, Christine must decide how far she’s willing to go to rid herself of the curse.
