The Story: Sam Flynn (Garrett Hedlund), the tech-savvy 27-year-old son of Kevin Flynn (JeffBridges), looks into his father’s disappearance and finds himself pulled into the same world of fierce programs and gladiatorial games where his father has been living for 25 years. Along with Kevin’s loyal confidant (Olivia Wilde), father and son embark on a life-and-death journey across a visually-stunning cyber universe that has become far more advanced and exceedingly dangerous.

The Story: It is 1967, and Larry Gopnik (Michael Stuhlbarg), a physics professor at a quiet Midwestern university, has just been informed by his wife Judith (Sari Lennick) that she is leaving him. She has fallen in love with one of his more pompous colleagues, Sy Ableman (Fred Melamed), who seems to her a more substantial person than the feckless Larry.
Larry’s unemployable brother Arthur (Richard Kind) is sleeping on the couth, his son Danny (Aaron Wolf) is a discipline problem and a shirker at Hebrew school, and his daughter Sarah (Jessica McManus) is filching money from his wallet in order to save up for a nose job. While his wife and Sy Ableman blithely make new domestic arrangements, and his brother becomes more and more of a burden, an anonymous hostile letter-writer is trying to sabotage Larry’s chances for tenure at the university.
Also, a graduate student seems to be trying to bribe him for a passing grade while at the same time threatening to sue him for defamation. Plus, the beautiful woman next door torments him by sunbathing nude. Struggling for equilibrium, Larry seeks advice from three different rabbis. Can anyone help him cope with his afflictions and become a righteous person – a mensch – a serious man?

The Story: The film takes place From the 6th to the 9th of December, 1980 and is intended to be an exploration of Chapman's psyche, without putting substantial emphasis on the murder.

Chapman makes his way to the tony Dakota apartment building where Lennon lives, and strikes up a tentative friendship with a sweetly naive groupie named Jude (Lindsay Lohan). Chapman becomes increasingly torn by his avenging impulses, losing himself further and further in Holden Caulfield's character, until an initial encounter with Lennon seals the fates of both men and altered the course of history. The Story: Marthe (Isabelle Huppert) and Michel (Olivier Gourmet), a married couple who live in an isolated house by the side of an unfinished motorway with their three children, sulky sun-bunny Judith (Adalaide Leroux), obsessive younger teenager Marion (Madeleine Budd) and bundle of boyish energy Julien (Kacey Mottet Klein). However, their idyllic lifestyle is suddenly shattered when, after 10 years, Route E57 is finally finished and opened to the public.
So begins the nightmare for this closely bonded family used to privacy and the silence of the natural world. Marthe is the one most seriously deranged by the noise pollution of trucks and cars whizzing by at all hours of the day and night. She can't sleep and quickly becomes very irritable. Judith gets angry at the intruders but tries to shut them out with her music. She eventually runs away from home, fed up with this new development. Marion focuses on the problem of pollution and starts worrying about the toxic effect of all the cars and trucks on their bodies. She tries to scare Julien by checking his back for signs of poisoning. Michel purchases insulation for the house and then barricades the place shut with concrete bricks. It works for a while by blocking out the noise but they all suffer from claustrophobia.
