The Story:
An adaptation of the novel, "The Lovely Bones", by Alice Sebold. In 1973, Susie Salmon (Saoirse Ronan) is raped and murdered by a neighbor, George Harvey (Stanley Tucci), a serial killer of young girls and women. She finds herself in Heaven, observing her family as they grieve for her. She also watches her killer who, having covered his tracks successfully, is preparing to murder again. Susie struggles to balance her desire for vengeance on Harvey and her desire to have her family recover from their loss.

The Story:
Lionel (Alex Descas) is a middle-aged widower who makes his living driving a train and shares an apartment with his twenty-something daughter Josephine (Mati Diop). Lionel and Josephine have a warm and caring relationship, and while it's not Lionel's nature to say very much, his affection for his daughter is clear. Lionel's on-and-off girlfriend Gabrielle (Nicole Dogue) and their footloose friend Noe (Grégoire Colin) live in the same building, and together the four have fallen into a casual family relationship.
However, when's Lionel's close friend and fellow driver Rene (Julieth Mars Toussaint) announces he's retiring, Lionel becomes painfully aware that he's not as young as he once was, and realizes how much he depends on his daughter. This knowledge sets Lionel on edge when Jospehine's friendship with Noe begins to evolve into a romantic relationship, while she is angered when she spies her father flirting with an attractive woman who runs a nearby diner.

BREATHING ROOM
The Story:
A young woman from Mississippi named Tonya (Alisa Marshall) being thrown naked into an isolated warehouse room with thirteen strangers that are dressed in prison orange and blue. After putting on some clothes and beginning to talk with some of the others in the room, they all learn that they are contestants in a deadly game. Each contestant is marked with a number (1-14) and has an electronic shock collar around their necks.
Together they must piece together the clues given to them by a psychopathic host (Keith Foster), who arises and speaks on a television from time to time. Also from time to time the lights begin to go off, in which one contestant is killed in a brutal manner, until Tonya and some of the others learn that one contestant is in fact a killer, and they must rely on clues and their instincts to find out who it is...

THE KILLING OF WENDY
The Story:
A dark comedy, the film centres on the investigation into the murder of Wendy Johnson (Vanessa Bell Calloway), an aging and supposedly “over-the-hill” actress who has been blackmailing 9 other Hollywood types (Agent, Writer, Producer, Director and 5 actresses). Detective Blake (Michael Boatman) is called in to interrogate the women, but his questioning is severely compromised as he is not only a detective, but also an aspiring screenwriter, actor and rapper and sees the interrogation as his way into “Hollywood.”
