DOLAN' S CADILLAC

The Story:

Based on Stephen King’s eponymous short story, Dolan’s Cadillac is a dark tale of murderous and unrepentant revenge. A modern twist on the Edgar Allan Poe classic ‘The Cask of Amontillado,’ Dolan’s Cadillac proves that revenge really is a dish best served cold.

Tom Robinson (Wes Bentley) and his wife, Elizabeth (Emmanuelle Vaugier). They are a happily married couple and Elizabeth is pregnant with their child. Meet Jimmy Dolan (Christian Slater), a Las Vegas mobster who makes his living in the sex trade, and when one of his delivery trucks goes off track, hes forced to take matters into his own hands.

Unfortunately for Dolan, the same time hes cleaning up his mess by way of some well-placed bullets,Elizabeth happens by on horseback. Elizabeth flees, but not before shes spotted and conveniently drops her cellphone for the bad guys to find.

She goes to the police to tell them what she has seen and they tell her that it is very hard to catch Dolan. He has buried the evidence in the desert and when the cops go there to find something, there is nothing to find. Tom and Elizabeth are told by the FBI agent Fletcher (Al Sapienza) that they can be protected 24 hours a day if Elizabeth testifies.

Elizabeth and Tom are in a hotel room for two months waiting for the chance to testify and when Elizabeth gets into her car, she is blown up by a bomb. Tom is consumed by grief and he goes to pieces. He knows that this was Dolan's doing, but there is nothing that he can do about it as Dolan is a powerful man with a lot of connections. He has henchmen to do his dirty work for him. He is protected by his armoured Cadillac.

Tom buys a gun and he follows Dolan around, but Dolan catches him and his henchman beats Tom up. Tom needs another plan and he comes up with one. He gets a job working on the highways so that he will be able to complete his plan. He knows that Dolan's Cadillac will be passing along where he is working and he wants to set up his own detour to trap him.

When the two men finally meet deep in the heart of the desert, Dolan's Cadillac climaxes with an amazing test of wills - the ultimate duel in the sun. The Cadillac, which has been Dolan's armor, may likely become his tomb.

SHIVER (ESKALOFRIO)

S H I V E R (eskalofrio) (Spain)

The Story:
A teenage boy who suffers from acute sensitivity to sunlight becomes the prime suspect in a horrific murder case after moving to a small village located in the mountainous region of northern Spain.

Santi (Junio Valverde) is a 16-year-old boy who lives in Barcelona with his mother, Julia (Mar Sodupe). But while most folks who live in Barcelona love to bask in the golden rays of the sun, Santi has a rare genetic disease that causes him to suffer severe sunburn and eye irritation within minutes of exposure to ultraviolet light.

Ideally, Santi would like to move to the shadowed town of Laponia in northern Sweden, but funds are tight and his mother cannot afford to make such a move. After a heartfelt discussion between mother and son, Julia agrees to move to Arrozas de Valdeon -- a remote village shaded by the high mountains on all sides. But strange things are happening in Arrozas de Valdeon; animals are disappearing, and rumors are circulating that something in the woods is responsible. One day, Santi witnesses the killing of a young boy.

No one else was around at the time the murder occurred, making Santi the prime suspect in the eyes of the villagers. In order to avoid any further problems, local policeman Antonio (Roberto Enríquez) asks Julia to keep an especially tight leash on Santi as an investigation gets under way.

But Santi is determined to prove his innocence, and after making friends with a local girl named Angela (Blanca Suárez), the pair sets out to locate the mysterious creature rumored to stalk the local woods. What Santi and Angela discover over the course of their investigation can only be described as tragic.

ASSASSINATION OF A HIGH SCHOOL PRESIDENT

The Story:

Sophomore newspaper reporter Bobby Funke (Reece Thompson), is assigned to write a cover story on popular class president and top athlete. After a stack of SAT tests is stolen from the office of hard-as-nails Principal Kirkpatrick (Bruce Willis).

When senior hottie Francesca Facchini (Mischa Barton) solicits Funke's help tracking down a set of stolen SATs, Funke publishes an expose that names Paul Moore (Patrick Taylor)school president as the prime suspect and suddenly, Bobby is the most popular kids at St. Donovan's High. No longer known simply as the freshman who was once tied to a giant snowman penis, Funke wins the respect of everyone from the Desert-Storm-hero-turned-educator Principal Kirkpatrickto the kid that farts on him in Spanish class.

But as Bobby digs deeper, he begins to question Paul's guilt, discovering a much wider network of corruption involving the student council and perhaps even the whole student body.

THE FOURTH KIND

The Story:
In 1972, a scale of measurement was established for alien encounters. When a UFO is sighted, it is called an encounter of the first kind. When evidence is collected, it is known as an encounter of the second kind. When contact is made with extraterrestrials, it is the third kind. The next level, abduction, is the fourth kind. This encounter has been the most difficult to document...until now.

Set in modern-day Nome, Alaska, where—mysteriously since the 1960s—a disproportionate number of the population has been reported missing every year. Despite multiple FBI investigations of the region, the truth has never been discovered.

Here in this remote region, psychologist Dr. Abigail Tyler (Milla Jovovich) began videotaping sessions with traumatized patients and unwittingly discovered some of the most disturbing evidence of alien abduction ever documented.

Using never-before-seen archival footage that is integrated into the film, "The Fourth Kind" exposes the terrified revelations of multiple witnesses. Their accounts of being visited by alien figures all share disturbingly identical details, the validity of which is investigated throughout the film.

THE LAST RESORT

The Story:
Kathleen (Marissa Tait), a bride to be, and her four bridesmaids Sophia (America Olivo), Jessica (Arianne Zucker), Beth (Sita Young), and Amber (Paulie Rojas) travel to Mexico in hopes of having a last “hoorah” before the wedding a few weeks away. After partying hard the night before, Sophia splits from the group to pursue Rob (Nick Ballard), a hansom young tourist from the states.

The other girls decide to take a tour of the countryside without her, but are robbed and left for dead in a remote rugged terrain. As night falls, the tired and injured girls arrive at an abandon resort and decide to take shelter until morning. When they enter, strange things begin to happen, as the girls become overwhelmed by an unspoken evil that possesses the resort.

Back in town, Sophia is worried about her friends and works hard to track them down. After realizing they took a scenic tour, Sophia and Rob do the same, in hopes of finding her lost friends. Sophia and Rob finally discover the resort and attempt to help their friends, but an unspeakable evil has taken control of all who travel to The Resort.

GENTLEMEN BRONCOS

The Story:
Benjamin (Michael Angarano), home-schooled by his eccentric mother (Jennifer Coolidge), is a loveable loner whose passion for writing leads him on an offbeat and hilarious journey as his story first gets ripped off by the legendary fantasy novelist, Ronald Chevalier (Jemaine Clement) and then is adapted into a disastrous movie by the small town's most prolific homespun filmmaker.
