TO SAVE A LIFE

The Story:
Ever since Jake Taylor (Randy Wayne) was a kid, he was the type of guy you couldn’t help but like. For Jake, life is good. He has a ton of friends, a basketball scholarship, a hot girlfriend and a really bright future. Not much to get down about, right?

Enter Roger Dawson (Robert Bailey). He was Jake’s childhood best friend before Jake’s growing popularity pushed him out. Tired of not fitting in and having a place to belong, Roger walks onto campus and, with a gun in his pocket and pain in his heart, makes a tragic move.

Jake is devastated by what Roger has done, and something in him changes. In seeking answers in his own life, one question plagues him the most: Could I have saved him? He finds himself deeply compelled to reach out to kids on the fringe – kids who aren’t viewed as cool enough. But this decision among other things, threatens Jake’s world. He may lose his friends, his scholarship and even his reputation by asking “What do I want my life to be about?”

The Story:
Completing contracts with ruthless efficiency Mandrill (Marko Zaror) is always on the lookout for the man who killed his parents when he was a child. When a contract comes up and it looks like this may finally be the man responsible for the death of his parents Mandrill discovers that the only way to get to him is through his daughter Dominic (Celine Reymond). But revenge is often a terrible cycle and Mandrill may not see this through to the end.

THE RED RIDING TRILOGY



The Red Riding Trilogy

The Story:
Based on the trilogy, several characters intertwining storylines united by the horror wrought by the "Yorkshire Ripper," a serial killer who terrorized northwest England in the 1970s and '80s.

Red Riding - 1974' (Directed by Julian Jarrold) centers on a rookie journalist, Eddie Dunford (Andrew Garfield), whose investigation of a series of child abductions and murders leads him to suspect that there's a terrifying connection between the perpetrators and the upper echelons of Yorkshire power.

'Red Riding - 1980' (Directed by James Marsh) finds the police and the public still baffled that the "Ripper" remains at large and may have inspired a copycat killer. A veteran police officer, Peter Hunter (Paddy Considine), is called in from Manchester to take over the investigation, but his new theories about the case only incite growing opposition to his involvement.

'Red Riding - 1983' (Directed by Anand Tucker) starts with the kidnaping of another young girl. Detective Maurice Jobson (David Morrissey) notices a number of powerful similarities to the abduction cases he had investigated back in the '70s--and for which a man was convicted and sentenced. Meanwhile, a reluctant local solicitor, John Piggott (Mark Addy), who grew up in the same benighted housing project as the girls’ accused killer, a mentally challenged man knowingly named Myshkin (Daniel Mays).decides to take up the condemned man's cause.

The Story:
Jamie Morgan (Jim Sturgess), a troubled young man with a birthmark on his face, which has left him feeling isolated and fearful, hiding from the world outside. He lives in the East End of London, an area notorious for its violent hooded gangs. According to news reports, the gangs are now wearing demon masks. But, one night, Jamie discovers the terrifying truth: the gangs are not wearing masks. They are real demons. And when Jamie's mother is killed by them in a brutal attack, he realizes he can no longer hide away. Jamie vows vengeance and turns vigilante. CENTURION

The Story:
Set during the war between Roman soldiers and Pict tribesmen during the 2nd century Roman conquest of Britain. Quintus Dias (Michael Fassbender), sole survivor of a Pictish raid on a Roman frontier fort, marches north with General Virilus’ (Dominic West) legendary Ninth Legion, under orders to wipe the Picts from the face of the earth and destroy their leader Gorlacon.
