EXAM
E X A M
The Story:
Eight talented candidates White (Luke Mably), Brown (Jimi Mistry), Blonde (Natalie Cox), Black (Chuck Iwuji), Brunette (Pollyanna McIntosh), Dark (Adar Beck) and Deaf (John Lloyd Fillingham) have reached the final stage of selection to join the ranks of a mysterious and powerful corporation. Entering a windowless room, an Invigilator (Colin Salmon) gives them 80 minutes to answer 1 simple question. He outlines three rules they must obey or be disqualified: don't talk to him or the armed guard by the door, don't spoil their papers, and don't leave the room. He starts the clock and leaves.
The candidates turn over their question papers, only to find they're completely blank. After the initial confusion has subsided, one frustrated candidate writes 'I believe you should hire me because...,' and is promptly ejected for spoiling. The remaining candidates soon figure out they're permitted to talk to each other, and they agree to cooperate in order to figure out the question; then they can compete to answer it.
At first they suspect the question may be hidden in their papers like a security marker in a credit card, and they figure out ways to change their environment to expose the hidden words. But light, liquids and other plans all come to nothing. Soon enough, the candidates begin to uncover each other's background, prejudices and hidden agendas. Tensions rise as the clock steadily descends towards zero, and each candidate must decide how far they are willing to go to secure the ultimate job

RED HILL
R E D H I L L
The Story:
Young police officer Shane Cooper (Ryan Kwanteen) who's just arrived in remote Red Hill the night before, rises for his first day's duty to discover a one-street community of taciturn, stick-in-the-mud locals. His ornery boss, Inspector William "Old Bill" Jones (Steve Bisley), is suspicious of the big-city transferee, and other colleagues, like Manning (Richard Sutherland), hardly give him the time of day.
Turns out Shane requested to be transferred as his heavily pregnant wife, Alice (Claire van der Boom), needs a stress-free environment in order not to miscarry again. But beneath his friendly, boyish front, Cooper himself also has problems -- and stress-free is hardly the adjective to apply to Red Hill.
In short order, news comes of an explosion at a maximum-security prison in the state capital and convicted wife murderer Dural "Jimmy" Conway (Tom E. Lewis), an expert tracker of Aboriginal descent, is on the loose. Old Bill, the cop who put him away a decade earlier, reckons Jimmy is headed their way for payback and "will be bringing hell with him." He tells a quickly assembled posse of snarling locals they have two hours to lock the town down.
Now caught in the middle of what quickly becomes a horrifying blood bath, Cooper will be forced to take the law into his own hands if he is to survive.
